A minimum of 2 night’s accommodation for the patient, their caregiver, and children (when applicable) in one of our donated accommodation properties within the Margaret River Region and South West of Western Australia.
In some cases some meals maybe included.
The Biggest Break does not include travel expenses to and from the donated accommodation or expenses incurred during your break.
The Biggest Break partner with hospital and cancer-based oncology professionals to receive nominations of eligible patients that meet our guidelines.
A patient must have a physician diagnosis of cancer and be nominated by a health care professional who is a member of the patient’s oncology team.
Due to our donations, preference is given to patients who reside in Western Australia.
Together, we work as a team to plan the most unique holiday experience which will result in improved mental health for the patient and their family.
The Biggest Break currently works with registered accommodation providers throughout the South West of Western Australia. Who, thanks to their generosity donate stunning properties and rooms for this event.

Our aim is to provide the gift of time and space in an environment that allows guests to relax, reconnect and take a break away with loved ones in the hope it will reduce the stresses and psychological impact of the disease.
We believe there are many amazing places to take a break from cancer and we offer nominated patient’s various types of properties in different locations across our southwest during this week-long event.
As our properties are donated, availability for these breaks will be made available between 5th -11th August 2019. Dates and availability are per the owners instructions and therefore cannot be rescheduled.
In certain situation these breaks may be extended at the guest’s expense. Should you wish to extend your stay we recommend speaking to the property owners to check availability and price.
